Internal Medicine practices encompass a wide range of patient care needs, requiring ongoing education and awareness of changes in various areas. These codes cover services such as principal navigation, social determinant of health assessment, and community health integration, all of which are potentially billable services that an internal medicine office may already be providing without realizing their billing potential.
